Fear

My heart keeps sinking,
I am afraid of
death and losing everything.
One day,
I may lose all and
 may have nothing.
But I’ll have
My conscience,
 my courage
But  no bondage.
Out of every bond
and no more
in any cage.
I’ll be free of
the bond of desire,
the reason of sorrow
But for,
I did always perspire.
